About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer / Operator with expertise in Mozaik woodworking software and AutoCAD. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in CNC programming and operations for woodworking applications, specifically in cabinet and furniture design. Candidates with strong backgrounds in Cabinet Vision or 20/20 software will also be considered.

This role involves translating technical drawings into CNC programs, optimizing cutting patterns, and ensuring precision in manufacturing outputs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Mozaik software (or Cabinet Vision / 20/20 software as alternatives).
  • Create and review technical drawings and designs in AutoCAD.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC woodworking machinery.
  • Troubleshoot programming and machining issues to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure designs are properly translated into CNC-ready files.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience as a CNC Programmer / Operator (preferably 5 years or more).
  • Proficiency in Mozaik woodworking software (Cabinet Vision and 20/20 software experience also acceptable).
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD for technical drawings.
  • Proven ability to work with woodworking machinery and CNC tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Advanced woodworking or cabinetry design knowledge.
  • Experience optimizing material usage and reducing waste in CNC operations.
  • Familiarity with other 3D design or CAD/CAM software.
