Job description

  • To develop Trade marketing plan in line with brand plan and sales channels.
  • To plan sales and promotion budget to meet the plan.
  • To develop planograms/ layouts at retail for merchandising the products
  • To promote the products in store by right placement in category, out of category or extra displays
  • To work with top retailers to make plans according to category roles in their stores
  • Manage some sales operation tasks

Primary Responsibilities

  • Focus on developing promotional programs that attract business form wholesalers, distributors and retailers
  • Category Management working with each brand manager (planogram, promotion, merchandising, communication) for key accounts or special projects.
  • Utilizing planogram software to develop effective solutions for key accounts/ working with all assets available and developing new programs when needed including in-store merchandisers
  • Identify category plans including range and merchandise proposals
  • Development and execution of trade/ consumer promotions including pricing, sales estimates, operations liaison and POS development
  • Recommend and develop local market promotion to promote sales
  • Provide feedback to management on new product launches or re-launch activities
  • Flawlessly execute launches to gain maximum distribution
  • Proactively communicate and build relationships with the global Marketing teams
  • Collect and disseminate Best Practices for profitable Trade Marketing Activities
  • Work closely with Sales Team to ensure trade marketing strategies are aligned with sales objectives and revenue targets
  • Work to develop trade communications – traditional and digital

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree graduate, preferably in Fine Arts, Visual Communication Arts, Multimedia Design, or related fields
  • Atleast 3 years experience in Trade Marketing
  • Experience in a relevant industry preferable stationery, tory, household goods, fast moving consumer-goods (FMCG)
  • Strong knowledge of Target Area retailers
  • Category Management Skills
  • Strong range management: Harmonization and rationalization
  • Experience in analyzing and identifying trends to plan against results
  • Prior experience with complex project management tasks
  • Passion for art (at minimum an interest in art; ideally a Leisure Artist of Fine Art background)
