This is a full-time, on-site role for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) based in Metro Manila. The SRE will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of critical systems. Daily tasks include managing infrastructure, troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing system performance, supporting development teams, and automating operational processes. The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to help achieve operational excellence and system reliability.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Site Reliability Engineering practices and principles for system optimization and stability
  • Strong expertise in Troubleshooting and resolving technical or operational issues
  • Experience in Software Development, including automation tools and scripting
  • Solid foundation in System Administration and infrastructure management
  • Knowledge of modern monitoring tools and incident response processes
  • Solid experience with containerization (Kubernates), CI/CD pipeline management, and deployment automation
  • In-depth understanding of system monitoring, observability, and incident management; ability to develop metrics, dashboards, root cause analysis, and runbooks
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • At least 9 years of IT-related work experience, 5 years of which involve Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related technical operations roles
  • Experience in the financial or banking sector is a plus
