Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for quotations.
  • Monitor and update project budgets with the management and procurement teams. Monitors site activity plans alongside the Project Manager and ensures that materials purchased for construction projects are in compliance with the plans, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Conducts site visits to address and mitigate any execution issues or discrepancies.
  • Assures that the work is performed in accordance to contract specifications and meets or exceeds the quality metrics defined.
  • Evaluate contractor and supplier bids to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with budget.
  • Prepares and submits all necessary reports and documents in preparation for billing and project performance reviews.
  • Manages the liquidation of the site office petty cash. Performs other related functions as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in cost engineering, quantity surveying, or project cost control.
  • Experience in real estate development or large-scale construction projects is a strong advantage
  • Proficient in cost estimating software, spreadsheets, and MS Office (Excel, in particular)
  • Familiar with contract terms, BOQ, and value engineering practices
  • Licensed Civil Engineer or member of PICQS is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
