Purchasing Supervisor

Job description:

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the spare parts warehouse/store.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and reconcile stock variances.
• Ensure timely issuance, receiving, and storage of parts and materials.
• Coordinate with the maintenance and production teams to meet parts requirements.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure quality parts at competitive prices.
• Create purchase requisitions and follow up on purchase orders.
• Implement inventory control procedures and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Maintain ERP/CMMS records, including stock updates, equipment BOMs, and transaction logs.
• Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, and critical spare parts.
• Conduct periodic stock counts and generate inventory and consumption reports.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate storekeepers and support staff.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 2-3 years experience in spare parts management, warehouse supervision, or maintenance planning.
• Strong knowledge of spare parts for machinery/equipment.
• Proficiency in ERP or CMMS systems (SAP, Oracle, Maximo, etc.).
• Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to interpret parts manuals, technical drawings, and BOMs.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
