  • Performs task and handles project assigned by his/her immediate superior or Manager.
  • Works as Project Leader for New Product, Engineering Change Notice or Instructions (ECN/ECI) and PCR/4M Change applications.
  • Spearheads team discussions and meetings for Project Kick offs, document reviews, Trial Run schedules, etc.
  • Serves as leader on APQP Generation. Monitors progress and timeliness of APQP following SIIX Global standards.
  • Coordinates and collects significant data/documents from Customer, SIIX Affiliates and/or SIIX Affiliates. Ensures completeness of such data/documents before start of trial.
  • Checks and analyzes Product Drawing and Bill of Materials (BOM) and initiate generation of request for Systems registration.
  • Generates and distributes reports such as Minutes of Meetings (MOM), Activity reports and updates, etc.
  • Ensures timely escalation of issues and problems encountered. Provides immediate and long-term solutions to issues.
  • Performs other related activities assigned and/or instruction by his/her Superior and/or the Management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 1 - 2 years' experience as NPI Engineer for, Plastic Injection and/ or related Manufacturing Industry/Company
  • Experience on Spearheading / Leading a team discussion.
  • Knowledge on APQP and PPAP is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge on Microsoft office applications (Outlook, Excel, PPT, etc.)
  • Knowledge on reading Product parts and Assembly drawings, BOM (bill of materials)
  • Strategic Planning capability
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Can work with less supervision.
