Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Tank Engineer to manage and maintain storage tanks used for sorbitol and other liquid raw materials in our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe, efficient handling, and integrity of tanks, supporting the smooth operation of storage and distribution processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and inspect storage tanks for sorbitol and other liquid raw materials to ensure operational safety and integrity.
  • Assist in the routine maintenance, cleaning, and repair of tanks and associated equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards related to tank handling and storage.
  • Support inventory control by accurately recording tank levels and reporting discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate filling, emptying, and cleaning operations.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving minor technical issues related to tank equipment.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, maintenance activities, and any incidents.
  • Follow all environmental and safety protocols to minimize risks associated with handling liquid raw materials.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of storage tank systems, fluid dynamics, or liquid material handling.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety regulations is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures rigorously.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Strong communication skills for reporting and coordination.
  • Physical ability to perform inspections and handle warehouse environments safely.
