Software QA Analyst – Functional Testing & Bug Tracking

We're seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst with strong functional testing skills and hands-on experience in test case design, bug tracking, and SQL. This role ensures product quality across web, mobile, and desktop platforms, working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements and user stories to define test scope
  • Design and execute manual test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing
  • Log and track defects using tools like JIRA; reproduce bugs and collaborate with developers for resolution
  • Support UAT and maintain clear documentation of test results and processes
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
  • Advocate for quality across the development lifecycle and raise risks proactively

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in software QA/testing
  • Proficiency in JIRA, SQL, and test case design
  • Familiarity with API testing (e.g., Postman)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with UKG Workforce Management (WFM)
  • Exposure to test automation tools like Selenium or Tosca
  • Knowledge of macros and Visual Basic scripting
