ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a newly created role to support our growing team.

The New Business team is a small but mighty part of the Yodel Mobile organisation and is essential to the continued growth of the company, particularly as part of the wider NP Digital organisation.

We expect the leads and new business opportunities to continue to grow, and this is an excellent opportunity to join the team at a pivotal moment in the company's journey; with a huge opportunity for someone to establish their career and grow with the company during this next period of focused growth.

To be considered, candidates must currently reside and be eligible to work in the Philippines.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

Discovery & Qualification

  • Research and identify relevant target companies and decision-makers aligned with our ICP
  • Qualify inbound & outbound leads through discovery sessions - qualification based on size, budget, service requirements, cultural fit, and company size. Qualify on an initial call as and when needed. This includes assessing inbound leads from both Yodel Mobile & NP Digital
  • Ensure accurate CRM data in HubSpot, adhering to established tagging, lifecycle stage, and property conventions
  • Work closely with Sales & Marketing to align discovery, qualification and prospecting initiatives to the company's marketing strategy
  • Qualify leads through discovery questions and schedule qualified meetings for Senior BDM, Agency Growth Director & CEO
  • Manage calendars, coordinate meeting logistics, and provide all available context and information to relevant team members ahead of meetings
  • Be the first touchpoint and representative of Yodel Mobile to brands of all shapes and sizes - delivering value, effective communication of our services and an overall great impression of Yodel Mobile as an agency

Team Support & Insight

  • Support the sales and marketing teams by identifying market opportunities and providing actionable insights across the global app ecosystem
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of client presentations, proposals, and pitch materials
  • Research and report on market trends, notable app launches, and potential client developments, including (but not limited to) new app launches, updates or developments from global enterprise brands
  • Manage and maintain lead data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and relevance for outreach and pipeline activity
  • Conduct ongoing sector and competitor analysis, highlighting emerging opportunities and shifts within key app categories (e.g. finance, health, gaming, lifestyle)
  • Produce quarterly insight reports on relevant themes to inform business development and marketing strategy – e.g. international app market trends, evolution of the gaming sector, new tech developments
  • Help to share regular updates and thought-starters with the wider team to enhance Yodel Mobile's market intelligence and positioning

Lead Generation

  • Proactively engage 50 outbound prospects per month, with at least 10 converting to qualified leads (SQL/MQL), leveraging existing CRM contacts for re-engagement, LinkedIn, AI solutions and other platforms for outreach
  • Build and manage outbound sequencing across all various touchpoints (LinkedIn, Email, Content, Case Studies)
  • Strategies for testing and implementing outreach programmes; and measurement of the impact & reach of those programmes in order to captilise and further grow as a business

Prospecting & Nurturing

  • Use LinkedIn & Crunchbase, or other tools, to source and validate leads
  • Collaboration and process optimisation: Contribute to sales messaging improvements & inviting attendees to Yodel Mobile-owned events - increasing lead quality, event registrations and campaign effectiveness
  • Develop a deep understanding of target markets and refine strategies based on feedback
  • Nurture contacts/leads from past proposals, events, reports, NP Salesforce, and other marketing initiatives
  • Help to maintain a target accounts list
  • Leveraging AI as an aid but not relying on it and still maintaining relevance and the Yodel Mobile ethos and charisma
  • Personalise outreach where necessary to increase response rates and maintain relevance - keeping up to date with industry news and our own agency achievements (i.e case studies, awards)

ABOUT YOU

  • Exceptional written, verbal, phone and presentation skills in English
  • Independent, with the ability to handle rejection and push through challenges
  • Open to feedback, always refining your approach
  • Skilled at building rapport and handling objections with empathy
  • Organised, to ensure smooth meeting bookings, detailed call notes, and maintenance of pipeline and accurate CRM data
  • Comfortable initiating conversations and building relationships
  • Driven by lead gen targets and pipeline growth
  • Thirst for knowledge and in-depth understanding of the mobile & app ecosystem (i.e. App Store Optimisation, Paid User Acquisition for mobile)
  • SDR, BDR, or sales role, with a focus on outbound prospecting
  • A Passion and in-depth knowledge for digital innovation in the mobile world
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with prospects at all levels
  • Experience in HubSpot and Salesforce (or similar CRM tool), Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel), Lead Gen tools (Lusha, Zoominfo) and AI automation for sales
