About the role

We are seeking talented Audit Associates to join our dynamic team at Emperador Distillers, Inc. (EDI) in Eastwood Quezon City Metro Manila. As a full-time Audit Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our internal audit function, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our financial operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting in the planning, execution, and reporting of internal audits across various business units and functions
  • Collecting, analysing, and interpreting financial and operational data to identify control gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Documenting audit findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and process enhancements
  • Staying up-to-date with industry regulations, best practices, and emerging audit methodologies
  • Contributing to the continuous development and improvement of the internal audit function

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in internal audit, preferably in the manufacturing or FMCG industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient in the use of data analysis tools and spreadsheet software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Familiarity with audit frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and internal control principles
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred
