Medical Researcher – OB/GYN Clinical Research

About the Role

High volume OB/GYN office is seeking a highly skilled Medical Researcher with a strong

clinical or biomedical background to lead data analysis, study design, and manuscript

development for a high-volume OB/GYN practice. Our practice has cared for more than 16,000

patients, generating a rich clinical dataset ready for retrospective and prospective research.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of clinical medicine, data science,

and academic writing. You will help shape the future of women's health research by

transforming real-world clinical data into publishable science.

Key Responsibilities

Data Management and Statistical Analysis

● Organize, clean, and catalog large clinical datasets from a high-volume OB/GYN

practice.

● Collect, validate, and analyze patient-level data across multiple clinical conditions.

● Perform statistical analyses including descriptive statistics, regression modeling, survival

analysis, comparative analysis, and other techniques relevant to clinical research.

● Build and maintain data dictionaries, codebooks, and reproducible workflows.

● Interpret statistical outputs and translate them into clinically meaningful insights.

Research Study Design and Execution

● Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, MFMs, CNMs, and clinical staff to design

retrospective and prospective studies.

● Develop methodologies, inclusion/exclusion criteria, study endpoints, and data collection

tools.

● Support implementation of prospective studies launching in 2026, including protocol

development, IRB submissions, and quality control procedures.

● Ensure all research activities meet regulatory, ethical, and scientific standards.

Manuscript & Publication Support

● Draft, write, and edit scientific manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals.

● Prepare tables, figures, statistical summaries, and supplemental materials.

● Conduct literature reviews and synthesize current evidence to contextualize findings

● Assist with poster abstracts, conference submissions, and presentations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

● Work closely with our clinical team to ensure accurate interpretation of medical data.

● Contribute to discussions on protocol development, clinical pathways, and innovation in

women's health care.

● Present findings internally and support publication strategy and timelines.

Qualifications

Required

● Bachelor's degree in a relevant field: MPH, MS, PhD, MD, DO, NP, PA, or equivalent

clinical/biomedical background is a plus.

● Strong proficiency in statistics and statistical software (R, Stata, SPSS, or Python).

● Experience conducting clinical or epidemiologic research.

● Ability to design studies, analyze datasets, and write manuscripts independently.

● Excellent scientific writing and editing skills.

Strong understanding of OB/GYN or women's health topics, or willingness to rapidly

learn.

● Ability to manage multiple projects and meet publication deadlines.

Preferred

● Previous experience with retrospective chart review research.

● Experience preparing IRB submissions.

● Familiarity with pregnancy-related conditions, maternal health, or women's health

research.

● Experience working in a fast-paced clinical or academic setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Php130,000.00 per month
