Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for setting the departments goals and plans for the year.
  • Responsible for organizing and overseeing proper performance of the compliance audits conducted with reference to the policies and procedures set.
  • Ensure that all issues and findings noted are communicated to the concerned personnel and to their immediate superior/manager.
  • Responsible for making sure that policies and procedures are up to date and is being complied by the process owners.
  • Plans objectives and activities ahead; provides a logical and effective course of action for the department and ensures that established goals are achieved.
  • To oversee overall performance of the department and resolve and communicate issues/ findings noted by the auditors.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Experience in the retail industry is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards, risk assessment practices, and internal controls
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel to retail locations as needed
