The Physical Therapist Assistant will support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitation and wellness care to patients. This role involves assisting with treatment sessions, preparing equipment, and providing administrative and patient care support to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans and exercise programs.
  • Guide and monitor patients during therapy sessions, ensuring proper technique and safety.
  • Prepare, clean, and maintain therapy equipment before and after use.
  • Record patient progress and report observations to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Educate patients on proper exercise routines, posture, and home care instructions as directed.
  • Support administrative tasks, including scheduling, logging patient data, and maintaining therapy records.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
  • Provide courteous and professional service to patients at all times.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Physical Therapy (without license) OR at least undergraduate in PT or any related medical course.
  • Strong interest in rehabilitation, therapy, or wellness care.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively assist patients.
  • Physically fit and capable of assisting with patient mobility and therapy equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of anatomy, exercise, and patient care is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office and comfortable with administrative tasks.
