Makati Hope Christian School is urgently looking for a dedicated and compassionate School Nurse to join our team.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) / BS Nursing Graduate
  • With genuine care for students and passion for school health services

Basic Function:

Assist the school physician/dentist in routine examinations and emergency treatments, while ensuring proper maintenance of clinic equipment and supplies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the school physician/dentist during routine exams and emergency care.
  • Facilitate annual medical check-ups for students and school personnel.
  • Coordinate varsity athletes' annual check-ups with the Sports Varsity Head Coach.
  • Coordinate annual immunization programs.
  • Assist with pre-employment medical exams for faculty and staff applicants.
  • Care for resident students and teachers temporarily confined in the infirmary.
  • Administer first aid with care, respect, and hospitality.
  • Maintain clinic equipment, supplies, and cleanliness.
  • Facilitate quarterly water potability testing.
  • Keep the clinic bulletin updated.
  • Provide updates and orientations on seasonal diseases and preventive measures.
  • Stamp Clinic Visit Notices for parents' awareness.
  • Inform parents when a child needs to be picked up for further medical evaluation.
  • Make student medical and dental records available to homeroom teachers.
  • Maintain updated clinic records for students and personnel.
  • Accompany students to the hospital for emergency treatment, when necessary.
