Looking for a Licensed Architect

Qualifications:

  • Experience as Licensed Architect.

  • Newly board passers are welcome to apply.

  • Previous experience in design firm is an advantage.

  • Reliable and can work under pressure.

  • Has good communication skills.

  • Team player and can handle construction personnel, willing to handle projects assigned to unavailable co-workers.

  • Decision maker, resourceful, and can adapt to different project situations with minimum supervision.

  • Able to handle multiple projects, willing to work longer hours, and be assigned as stay-in on projects.

  • Previous experience in design of commercial building is a plus.

Responsibilities

1. Construction / Project Management

  • Implementing construction project/s in accordance with the plans and scope of works.

  • Assigning and monitoring construction works and workers.

  • Material monitoring and confirmation of deliveries on-site.

  • Administration of construction workers.

  • Establishing deadlines that will meet the requirement of the project.

2. Architectural Design

  • Prepare initial designs, renderings, material board for client presentation.

  • Development of the plans, structural conceptualization, space planning, interior design and the like.

  • Preparation, signing and sealing of permit plans and construction plans.

  • Prepare, sign and seal documents such as specifications, cost estimates, bill of materials, Gantt charts, etc.

  • Coordination of engineering plans such as electrical, plumbing, fire protection, mechanical, structural, etc.

3. Participating Project Meetings and Entertaining Inquiries

  • Attending client meetings, pre-bid meetings, site visits, proposal presentations.

  • Prepare quantity take-off, estimates and the likes for bid submission.

  • Attending groundbreaking ceremonies and site mobilizations.

  • Attending construction coordination meetings.

  • Coordination of construction related inquiries and concerns to appropriate authorities.

4. Researching of Materials and Suppliers

  • Shall do research on needed materials, furnishings, equipment, specialty contractors, suppliers as deemed necessary for the project.

  • Coordinate, purchase and monitor the necessary materials and suppliers.

5. Marketing

  • Create promotional materials (picture and video post, stories, reel) of handled project/s for the company to be posted on company's social media platforms.
