Job Title: Video Editor

Location: Fully Remote

Job Type: Part-Time, As-Needed, Independent Contractor

We're seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our client's team on a contract basis to help bring their our weekly podcast program and classroom instruction materials to life.

As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, high-quality video content for use in educational and media environments. You'll work closely with the content and production teams to edit videos that align with the brand, tone, project and instructional goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit weekly podcast episodes, incorporating visuals, transitions, and audio enhancements.
  • Assemble and edit instructional videos for a national educational platform, ensuring
  • clarity and accessibility.
  • Add motion graphics, titles, and other design elements to enhance viewer engagement.
  • Collaborate with producers and instructional designers to understand project goals and
  • implement feedback.
  • Manage file organization, version control, and delivery of final assets in required formats.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a video editor, with a portfolio showcasing work in podcast or
  • educational content.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing tools.
  • Strong understanding of motion graphics, typography, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on a part-time, as-needed
  • schedule.
  • Excellent communication skills and responsiveness in a remote

  • Internet: A reliable connection with speeds of 20mbps or higher
  • Location: Anywhere remote
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
  • Availability: Willingness to work full-time within the client timezone.
  • Experience: Previous experience working remotely is highly desirable
