Reporting to the Assistant General Manager

The core duty of the Video Editor is to be responsible for creating high-quality video and graphic content for digital use. This role requires a confident and independent creative who can manage editing and design tasks with minimal direction. A strong sense of visual storytelling, attention to detail, and consistency in delivering on-brand content are essential to success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Completes all video editing and design tasks within the required turnaround time
  • Takes briefs and translates them into clean, effective, and professional visual content
  • Prioritises and manages the queue of design and video projects efficiently
  • Finalises artwork and videos to ensure they meet all technical and brand specifications
  • Edits long-form content into short-form formats (e.g. 30–90 seconds) for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
  • Selects key soundbites and enhances videos with captions, transitions, B-roll, and music
  • Creates digital assets such as email banners, social media graphics, and presentation visuals
  • Occasionally designs print-ready graphics (e.g. brochures, packaging, business cards)
  • Implements feedback and revises content to finalise deliverables
  • Reviews and proofs all designs and videos to ensure accuracy in layout, copy, and specifications
  • Coordinates and communicates clearly with internal and external stakeholders
