
Event Sales Executive

Responsible for generating revenue by selling the hotel's event spaces and services to both corporate and social clients. Proactively identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, coordinating event details, and ensuring successful event execution. Can analyze market trends and develop strategies to improve sales and occupancy rates.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Generation and Client Acquisition:
- Identifying and pursuing new leads for events (corporate meetings, social gatherings, weddings, etc.).
- Responding to client inquiries, preparing proposals, and conducting site inspections.
- Negotiating contracts and closing deals.
- Building and maintaining relationships with potential and repeat clients.
- Attending industry events and trade shows to generate leads and promote the hotel.
Event Coordination and Execution:
- Working with clients to plan event details, including venue selection, layout.
- Collaborating with various hotel departments (banquet, housekeeping, AV, etc.) to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Preparing function sheets and communicating client requirements to all relevant teams.
- Overseeing the event setup and ensuring everything is in place according to the client's specifications.
Client Relationship Management:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for event clients throughout the entire process.
- Providing exceptional customer service and personalized experiences.
- Conducting post-event follow-ups to gather feedback and solicit future business.
- Maintaining a client database for future marketing and relationship-building efforts.
Sales Reporting and Administration:
- Tracking sales performance, revenue projections, and booking trends.
- Preparing sales reports and forecasts for management.
- Maintaining accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions.
- Utilizing CRM software to manage leads, track sales, and analyze performance.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using sales and CRM software.
- Knowledge of event planning and execution.
- Familiarity with hotel operations and banquet services.
