R&D Jr. Formulator

Job Summary:

The R&D Formulator for Personal Care and Food Supplements is responsible for developing product prototypes, documenting formulations, and coordinating technology transfer to production. This role supports product development orders and includes the essential qualifications and skills required for effective performance in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and execute product development orders from the Formulations Head.
• Conduct laboratory batch trials for new product prototypes in personal care, household, and food supplements.
• Improve existing products through laboratory reformulation trials.
• Perform initial QC analysis on prototype and stability samples.
• Set and monitor QC parameters for stability testing.
• Prepare product samples for stability, clinical/use tests, and FDA submissions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and filing of all laboratory activities and reports.
• Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) during all formulation activities.
• Manage proper storage and inventory of raw materials and samples.
• Support lab maintenance and assist with validation of raw materials from alternate suppliers.

Qualifications:

• A graduate of Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or Food Technology
• Experience in cosmetic formulation is a plus but not required
• Detail-oriented, open-minded, and eager to learn
• Demonstrates objectivity, critical thinking, and is a strong team player
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and basic lab safety protocols
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Basic knowledge of raw materials and their functional roles in personal care or supplement products

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php19, Php21,000.00 per month
