Join Brickmill Dental Arts as our Operational Excellence Manager and lead cutting-edge process improvements in our state-of-the-art digital dental laboratory.

As an Operational Excellence Manager at BrickMill, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing laboratory processes and leveraging digital technology to significantly boost productivity and quality to craft exceptional dental restoration experiences. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including technicians, ceramists, and client-facing staff to streamline lab operations, improve efficiency and change manage new concepts and processes across our dental laboratory network effectively. You'll thrive in this role if you have experience forming relationships and influencing cross-functional teams, analyzing operational data to produce concrete recommendations, and delivering high quality process improvement projects on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management: Oversee daily lab operations ensuring timely case delivery while supervising, training, and supporting lab staff to foster a culture of operational excellence
  • Process Optimization & Compliance: Analyze and optimize workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround time while developing and enforcing SOPs for consistent quality and compliance
  • Performance & Resource Management: Track performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while monitoring inventory, supplies, and implementing cost-control and lean practices
  • Technology & Stakeholder Collaboration: Implement automation and digital tools to enhance productivity while collaborating with technicians, ceramists, and dentists to align operations with client needs
  • Equipment & Reporting: Ensure proper use and maintenance of lab equipment and facilities while reporting progress, operational insights, and improvement recommendations to management

Candidate Requirements:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Business Management, or Operations with 3+ years in process improvement or manufacturing/healthcare operations
  • Technical Expertise: Lean Six Sigma certification preferred, proficiency in data analysis tools, process mapping, and project management software
  • Leadership & Mindset: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams with a change agent mentality and passion for operational excellence methodologies
