Riggers

What you'll be doing

• Safely rig, move, and position heavy equipment and materials using cranes, hoists, and other lifting devices
• Inspect, maintain, and repair rigging equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to develop and implement safe lifting plans
• Provide guidance and training to less experienced Riggers to promote a culture of safety
• Identify and address potential hazards to mitigate risks on the job site
• Maintain detailed records of all rigging activities and equipment inspections

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Rigger in the mining, construction, or related industries
• Comprehensive understanding of rigging equipment, techniques, and safety protocols
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, lift plans, and other technical documents
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address complex rigging challenges
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
• Proficiency in the use of rigging tools and equipment, including cranes, hoists, and slings
• Valid driver's license and the ability to operate various types of heavy machinery
