We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Electronics Technician to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics and a passion for hands-on work. This role involves diagnosing and repairing electronic systems, installing new equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting ongoing improvements and training initiatives. To be successful in this position, you should possess excellent mechanical and technical skills, enjoy problem-solving, and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. A commitment to safety, customer service, and continuous learning is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble, install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of electronic systems and components.
  • Source or fabricate replacement parts as needed to restore or upgrade electronic equipment.
  • Operate tools and equipment safely, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and clients to determine project timelines, cost estimates, and work schedules.
  • Train and provide guidance to junior technicians and apprentices.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability.
  • Perform equipment demonstrations and assist in the development of training manuals when required.
  • Interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics to perform tasks accurately.
  • Follow written, verbal, and telephonic instructions with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions and provide regular updates to the supervisor.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Degree, diploma, or completed coursework in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant certification or licensing may be required (as per local or national standards).
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity for precision work.
  • Solid understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to teamwork.
  • Genuine interest and passion for electronics and emerging technologies.
  • Willingness to learn, grow professionally, and accept constructive feedback.
