A Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing a sales team to achieve the company's sales targets and revenue goals. Their core duties include developing and implementing strategic sales plans, setting sales quotas and individual targets, coaching and motivating the sales team, tracking performance, and coordinating with marketing for lead generation. They also recruit, train, and evaluate sales staff, build and maintain customer relationships, analyze sales data, and identify new market opportunities.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
Experience in sales of food products to secondary & tertiary markets preferred
Must have had at least five (5) years experience in a supervisory or managerial position
3 Full-Time positions available. Direct Hire.
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proven ability to lead a team to meet quotas
Excellent leadership skills
Experience setting sales goals
Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
Deep understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and best practices
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
Willing to accept provincial assignment.
