ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the day-to-day delivery of Billing Care Services by submitting, updating, and reconciling billing claims and errors in EMRs and proprietary billing software.
  • Use your analytical skills to identify billing and revenue opportunities for customers.
  • Liaise with the Ministry of Health to help customers answer questions and resolve billing errors.
  • Use your keen attention to detail to assist customers in completing government paperwork accurately and on time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 2 years of customer service experience with English-speaking businesses, clients, or customers.
  • A background in healthcare, collections, and/or billing programs/accounts is an advantage but not required.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, a neutral English accent with clear pronunciation, and excellent email, chat, and phone etiquette.
  • Experience in medical billing and working within EMRs in Ontario is an advantage but not required.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare system is considered an asset.
  • Experience with any of the following tools is beneficial: Microsoft Excel, Salesforce, EMRs, and medical billing software.
  • Onsite training followed by a hybrid work setup (4 days onsite, 1 day WFH) in Ortigas, Pasig.
  • Resourceful: Able to learn independently and apply new knowledge to solve problems.
  • Honest: Acknowledges mistakes and operates with the highest degree of integrity.
  • Humble: Able to set aside ego to find the best solution to a problem and reflect on weaknesses to improve.
  • Smart: Quickly applies new knowledge to unfamiliar situations.
