The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for fleet Supply allocation and pre-dispatch operations.
  • Develop and optimize daily, weekly, and long-term fleet schedules based on operational needs, Operations requirements, vehicle availability, and driver availability.
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends and improve fleet Supply efficiency and resource allocation.
  • Efficiently allocate drivers and vehicles according to the planned schedules, ensuring clear and accurate instructions are provided.
  • Utilize available SPX software and communication systems to communicate daily requirements with agencies and suppliers.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments (e.g., Operations, Strategy, Opex) to coordinate operational activities and provide feedback as necessary.
  • Relay important information and updates to partner agencies and relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Proactively identify and address potential logistical challenges, such as traffic congestion, driver availability issues,a nd SPX operational concerns.
  • Implement contingency plans to minimize disruptions and ensure efficient and reliable service.
  • Identify opportunities for streamlining processes and improving efficiency in the interactions between internal teams and supply agencies. Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Strong negotiation, communication (both written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of vehicle specifications, industry trends, and lifecycle costing is desirable.
  • Strong ethical standards, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to travel occasionally may be required.
