Key Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors
- Prepare and process purchase requests, purchase orders, and related documents
- Ensure accuracy of purchase details (quantity, price, specifications, delivery dates)
- Monitor delivery schedules and coordinate with suppliers for timely fulfillment
- Maintain updated records of purchases, suppliers, and contracts
- Compare quotations and ensure best value for money
- Coordinate with requesting departments regarding procurement needs
- Ensure purchases comply with company policies and budget guidelines
- Assist in inventory monitoring and replenishment planning
- Handle supplier concerns, discrepancies, and invoice issues
- Prepare procurement reports and documentation as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, or any related field
- At least 1–2 years experience in purchasing, procurement, or administrative roles (fresh graduates may be considered)
- Knowledge of purchasing procedures and basic inventory management
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with good record-keeping abilities
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word); experience with ERP or purchasing systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Honest, organized, and deadline-oriented
