Key Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors
  • Prepare and process purchase requests, purchase orders, and related documents
  • Ensure accuracy of purchase details (quantity, price, specifications, delivery dates)
  • Monitor delivery schedules and coordinate with suppliers for timely fulfillment
  • Maintain updated records of purchases, suppliers, and contracts
  • Compare quotations and ensure best value for money
  • Coordinate with requesting departments regarding procurement needs
  • Ensure purchases comply with company policies and budget guidelines
  • Assist in inventory monitoring and replenishment planning
  • Handle supplier concerns, discrepancies, and invoice issues
  • Prepare procurement reports and documentation as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, or any related field
  • At least 1–2 years experience in purchasing, procurement, or administrative roles (fresh graduates may be considered)
  • Knowledge of purchasing procedures and basic inventory management
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with good record-keeping abilities
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word); experience with ERP or purchasing systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Honest, organized, and deadline-oriented
