Backend Developer , MySQL)

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer experienced in NestJS, , and MySQL to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and building scalable, secure, and high-performing backend systems and APIs.

This role requires strong proficiency in TypeScript, database design, and query optimization to ensure efficient data flow and seamless integration across applications. You will work within a cloud-based environment deployed on AWS ECS (Fargate) and collaborate closely with frontend and DevOps teams to deliver reliable, well-integrated, and high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using NestJS + TypeScript).
  • Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following industry best practices, testing, and deployment standards.
  • Manage and optimize MySQL (Amazon RDS) databases, queries, and stored procedures for performance and reliability.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and data validation to ensure secure API access.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and other team members to deliver reliable and consistent integrations.
  • Support deployments and scaling through AWS ECS (Fargate) and CloudWatch monitoring.

Technical Environment (Backend Focus)

  • NestJS / (TypeScript) for structured, testable API development
  • Amazon RDS (MySQL) for database management
  • AWS ECS (Fargate) for serverless container deployment
  • CloudFront + AWS WAF for security and performance optimization
  • CloudWatch for logging, monitoring, and autoscaling
  • Encryption in transit and at rest to ensure data security

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Backend Developer using , NestJS, and TypeScript.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design, JavaScript (ES6+), MySQL, microservice architecture, and scalable systems.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php70, Php100,000.00 per month
