The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, stack, load, and unload goods and materials within the warehouse or yard. The role ensures accuracy in handling, compliance with safety regulations, and supports warehouse productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklift and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials/products as required.
  • Ensure proper handling of goods to avoid damage and maintain product quality.
  • Conduct routine inspection and basic maintenance of forklift before and after use (fuel, oil, battery, tires, etc.).
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
  • Assist in inventory control by ensuring accuracy in the movement and storage of items.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned work areas, storage areas, and equipment.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, damages, or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
  • Support warehouse operations in other tasks when needed (manual handling, labeling, etc.).

Qualifications

  • At least High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • With valid NC II Forklift Operator Certification (TESDA)
  • At least [1–2 years] of proven experience as a forklift operator in warehouse or logistics operations.
  • Physically fit and able to lift/move heavy goods as needed.
  • Knowledgeable in warehouse safety practices.
  • Willing to work in shifting schedules, extended hours, weekends, or holidays if required.

  • Safe driving and maneuvering skills for forklifts.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment checks.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and safety awareness
