Duties and responsibilities

· Operate forklifts to transport materials and products within the warehouse.

· Load and unload trucks, ensuring the proper handling of goods.

· Perform routine inspections and maintenance of forklifts to ensure safety and efficiency.

· Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment.

· Keep accurate records of materials handled and inventory levels.

· Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

· Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications and competencies

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Valid forklift operator certification (as required by local regulations).

· Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting preferred.

· Strong understanding of safety procedures and practices.

· Ability to lift heavy loads (up to [specify weight] lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.

· Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

· Basic math skills for inventory management and order processing.

· Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

· Working Conditions:

· May require working in various weather conditions.

· Shift work may be required, including evenings and weekends.

· Ability to work independently and with little direct supervision
