POSITION OVERVIEW

The role sits within our SMB infrastructure team and gives you the chance to flex your skills across cloud automation, Windows server management, and modern workplace technologies. You'll be a go-to expert in both traditional Wintel infrastructure and forward-thinking cloud-native solutions.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

· Design, implement and manage Windows Server environments , Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

· Build and support modern workspace platforms like Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Windows 365, and Endpoint Manager.

· Automate provisioning, patching, and compliance tasks using Powershell, Azure Automation, and Logic Apps.

· Manage Azure virtual machines, hybrid networks, and storage environments.

· Lead Tier 3 support and root cause analysis for escalated incidents.

· Drive Zero Trust security models and enforce endpoint protection policies.

· Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure configurations meet audit and governance standards.

· Be the subject matter expert for Wintel platforms and modern desktop deployments.

· Maintain system availability and performance through proactive monitoring and capacity planning.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

· Strong skills in Azure Iaas/Paas, Entra ID, Powershell, and automation tooling.

· Knowledge of SCCM, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and co-management environments.

· Solid understanding of networking, security, and identity principles.

QUALIFICATIONS

· 5+ years of hands-on experience in Windows Server administration.

· 3+ years working with Microsoft Modern Workspace (Intune, Autopilot, Windows 365).

· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Bonus Points:

· Microsoft certifications like AZ-104, MD-102, MS-102

· Experience with DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

· Familiarity with ITIL frameworks, Citrix/VMWare Horizon, or Agile methodologies

· Exposure to hybrid cloud environments and enterprise endpoint management.
