Job Summary:

Looking for a trailblazing wordsmith to help Joy~Nostalg promote the purpose, mission, and vision of the company through creative copy for print and online execution

The Copywriter will be responsible for the preparation of all communication materials, both online and offline. He or she will write new content for websites and online channels, long-form content and other offline channels, how-to guides, case studies, social media captions, infographics, and other marketing materials.

Job Description:

  • Develop clear and engaging content tailored for various platforms, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and print materials.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers and designers, to ensure alignment and create visually appealing and impactful materials.
  • Articulate and present conceptual ideas to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Creative thinker who thrives in an always-changing, fast-paced work environment
  • Ensure that all copy is thoroughly proofed and ready for delivery or posting.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and priorities to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality content.
  • Adapt to evolving project needs and contribute to a flexible and adaptable work environment.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Journalism, English, Communications, or related discipline
  • Mastery of spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors, plus the ability to self-edit your work.
  • Meticulous with details, style, and tone, writing with confidence and clarity.
  • Able to remain detail-oriented and focused when juggling multiple tasks.
  • Can write attention-grabbing headlines and reader-friendly content that people will enjoy reading.
  • Able to understand a brief from stakeholders, research accordingly, and help convert that brief into excellent content.
  • Has an exceptional command of the English language — writing with perfect clarity of expression, nuanced understanding of different tones of voice, and appreciation for regional and cultural differences in spelling and phrasing.
  • Agency experience is a major plus
