Job Summary

An SEO Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the optimization efforts of digital content to improve online visibility and drive organic traffic. This position requires a combination of technical skills, creativity, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in generating backlinks through manual outreach on blogs, forums, directories, Q&A sites
  • Submit our website to listing platforms, bookmarking sites, and niche directories
  • Create accounts and profiles on web platforms and forums for link placement and brand visibility
  • Perform basic ASO (App Store Optimization) spamming such as posting fake reciews, keyword-stuffed comments, and app mentions on app stores and related platforms
  • Follow link-building and ASO guidelines provided by the team
  • Perform keyword research and competitive analysis to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities
  • Collaborating with others within the marketing department to manage SEO strategy
  • Edit and format content to align with SEO guidelines and improper readability
  • Stay informed about industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging SEO best practices.
  • Communicate regularly with the team to share progress, insights, and recommendations
  • Perform other basic SEO-related tasks assigned by the manager (e.g., content spinning, keyword insertion, basic competitor backlink research)

Qualifications

- Proven experience as an SEO Assistant or similar role

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or any related field

- Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices

- Proficient in data analysis and reporting
