Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Underwriting Specialist located in Manila. The Underwriting Specialist will be responsible for assessing risks, evaluating insurance applications, determining coverage levels, and pricing policies accurately. They will also collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in underwriting decisions
  • Knowledge of insurance principles and underwriting practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
  • Relevant certifications such as CPCU or AU designation are a plus
