Job Opportunity – Employment Partnership Specialist (CPSIP)
Location: Quezon City (Onsite)
Contract: 2-year project-based
Overview:
The Employment Partnership Specialist will play a key role in connecting youth aged 19–24 with employment and entrepreneurship opportunities under the Child Path Scaling-Up Implementation Project (CPSIP). Reporting to the Youth Workforce Development Lead, the role focuses on developing partnerships, supporting workforce insertion programs, and enhancing the employability of young people in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and strengthen partnerships with public, private, and civil society organizations to create employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for youth.
- Collaborate with the Youth Workforce Development Lead to implement workforce insertion programs aligned with local needs and project objectives.
- Support youth in building employability skills, including resume writing, interview preparation, and career guidance.
- Facilitate internships, work-based learning experiences, mentoring, and job placement opportunities.
- Contribute to program planning, budgeting, and monitoring, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.
- Promote program visibility and engagement through events, community outreach, and digital media.
- Participate in stakeholder activities, representing the organization and fostering collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, Business, Community Development, or related field.
- 2–3 years' experience in workforce development, partnership building, or youth employment programs.
- Knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data, solve problems creatively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work weekends/evenings as required.
- Willingness to travel across service areas (at least 60% of the time) and occasionally outside the country.
- Commitment to organizational policies, ethics, and child safeguarding norms.
