Job Summary:

The Manager for Data Analytics & Intelligence leads a team in transforming data into actionable insights that inform communication strategies, stakeholder engagement, and overall business performance. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of media monitoring, social listening, and data analysis frameworks. The role also plays a key part in aligning analytics with business objectives and guiding team development in analytics capability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the use of social listening and media monitoring tools to derive actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of media investments, sponsorships, and influencer activities using data-driven frameworks.
  • Provide analytics-driven recommendations to support communications, public relations, and advocacy programs.
  • Continuously assess and improve analytics models and tools based on industry best practices and new research.
  • Translate data trends into clear narratives for use by internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Drive collaboration with internal departments and external research/data partners to strengthen analytics processes and benchmarking.
  • Monitor data signals for emerging issues and contribute to crisis management strategies.
  • Oversee talent development programs, ensuring growth of the analytics team through training and certifications.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports that summarize key insights, trends, and recommendations.
  • Manage reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as media effectiveness, insight utilization, and team development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Marketing, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data analytics, with at least 2 years in a people manager capacity.
  • Strong background in media analytics, audience research, or communications measurement.
  • Experience working with social listening platforms, data visualization tools, and dashboard creation.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
  • Experience managing external data vendors and cross-functional project teams is preferred.

  • Strong proficiency in data interpretation, visualization, and reporting
  • Familiarity with media measurement tools and campaign analytics
  • Experience with analytics model building and validation
  • Knowledge of crisis monitoring and response frameworks
