  • Team Leadership:Direct and supervise the daily activities of the cold storage team, assigning tasks and fostering a collaborative work environment.

  • Operations Management:Oversee the receipt, storage, testing, and shipping of temperature-sensitive products.

  • Temperature Monitoring: Ensure that temperature controls are maintained within the optimal range to preserve the quality of goods.

  • Inventory Control:Track inventory levels, conduct regular checks, and ensure the accuracy of records for received and delivered items.

  • Safety & Compliance:Enforce safety protocols, monitor and maintain hygiene standards, and ensure the facility adheres to all relevant health, safety, and food safety regulations.

  • Equipment Management:Ensure the proper use and basic maintenance of warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.

  • Customer & Client Coordination:Liaise with clients, address their inquiries, resolve issues, and coordinate delivery requests.

  • Documentation & Reporting:Prepare necessary documentation, maintain relevant records, and generate reports on warehouse productivity.

  • Training:Train new staff on procedures and conduct performance reviews.

  • a)    Experience

With at least 3 – 5 years of work experience of Warehouse Management

Minimum of 3 years hands-on operational experience in a cold storage environment

Experience in warehouse administration, resolving queries and receiving

b)    Educational Background

·       Associate's or Bachelor's Degree: A degree in a relevant field such as:

o   Supply Chain Management

o   Logistics

o   Business or Administration

o   Industrial/Mechanical Engineering  Postsecondary Vocational
- Training: Training in logistics or supply chain management can also be beneficial.

Valuable Certifications and Training

·       Safety Certifications:

Certifications from organizations like the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) are preferred, especially for roles in food manufacturing.

·       Warehouse-Specific Training:

Any relevant training or certifications specific to cold storage operations or warehouse management are highly advantageous.
