Mechanical Draftsman

About the role

Edisons Group of Companies Inc. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Draftsman to join our engineering team based in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. As a full-time Mechanical Draftsman, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of our engineering projects, contributing to the overall success of the company.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing detailed mechanical drawings and designs using CAD software
• Interpreting engineering specifications and client requirements to produce accurate technical drawings
• Collaborating with the engineering and design teams to ensure the feasibility and compliance of mechanical designs
• Maintaining and updating engineering documentation, including bills of materials and parts lists
• Providing technical support and answering queries from various stakeholders
• Staying up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in mechanical drafting

What we're looking for

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman or in a similar role
• Proficient in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, design, and manufacturing processes
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with technical specifications and drawings
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
• Adaptability to changing project requirements and deadlines
