Machinist

To provide support in mechanical fabrication with a strong focus on customer satisfaction in terms of quality, delivery, and cost—achieved through continuous improvement and effective customer interaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the fabrication of jigs, fixtures, and test fixtures as required.
• Assist in sheet metal fabrication and contribute to production line improvements.
• Operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce precision metal components.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and CAD designs to determine machining requirements.
• Program and operate CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines for complex or high-precision tasks.
• Adjust machine settings including speed, feed, and cutting tools based on material and job specifications.
• Provide general support for machine shop operations as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of Electromechanics Technology or a related technical course.
• Preferably with experience in a machine shop environment.
• Strong ability to work in a cross-cultural team setting.
• Assertive, flexible, and a proactive team player with good leadership qualities.
