GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review 3D models from consultants and contractors, ensuring compliance with project standards.
  • Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs using Navisworks Manage to identify and resolve conflicts.
  • Audit and review models in Autodesk Revit for accuracy and completeness.
  • Hold weekly coordination meetings with project team members and stakeholders to discuss project progress and address issues.
  • Perform early design reviews and constructability analysis to enhance project feasibility.
  • Manage and update BIM project documents, ensuring all information is current and accessible.
  • Extract and verify quantities from 3D models for project estimation and planning.
  • Implement 4D scheduling and simulation using Autodesk Navisworks to visualize project timelines.
  • Coordinate design and construction issues with stakeholders and the project team, fostering effective communication.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration among team members.

QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a BIM Coordinator with a strong proficiency in BIM software.
  • At least 5 years of experience using BIM tools, including advanced knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
  • Proficient in BIM 360 and Autodesk Design Review, with a working knowledge of 3D layout and design.
  • Solid understanding of basic construction processes and procedures.
  • Advanced PC skills, particularly in Microsoft Windows applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.
