Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone call and take down guest reservation
  • Coordinate with dining or restaurant attendant for booking or reservation
  • Ensure that guest preference and pre ordered menu is well communicated with the kitchen and service
  • Welcome guests and ensure that they will have an excellent service
  • Upsell food and beverage products to guests and informs guests about the special item of the day
  • Explain to guest preferred food (ingredients used, and how is it cooked)
  • Prepare guest's table
  • Coordinate with cashier and kitchen for orders, ensuring that guest request/s are well attended
  • Efficiently handle guest queries, concern or complain and take necessary action as needed
  • Receive and count payment from guest and request for change, receipt or bank authorization
  • Ensures stocks are at par and replenished with smart spending attitude
