BASIC FUNCTIONS

Responsible for receiving, safekeeping and depositing cash/check collections submitted to the Cashier; maintaining and handling of petty cash funds for general expenses. Distributes payroll of rank-and-file employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or any related field.

· With at least 1–2 years of relevant experience in cash handling, cashiering, or accounting-related work.

· Knowledgeable in basic accounting procedures, bank transactions, and financial reporting.

· Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel); familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.

· Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

· High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to maintain confidentiality of financial records and transactions.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with different departments and employees.

· Must be willing to work onsite

SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.     Receives and deposits the Company's daily collections in accordance with the prescribed procedures embodied in the attached memorandum.

2.     Issues official receipts to cover customer's payments.

3.     Prepares check vouchers and checks in payment of accounts based on duly approved vouchers.

4.     Prepares and submits daily cash position report together with the daily official receipts and check vouchers prepared, complete with supporting documents.

5.     Handles petty cash fund and pays promptly duly approved petty cash vouchers. Prepares timely replenishment of petty cash expenses.

6.     Encash checks and distributes semi-monthly salary of rank-and-file employees.

7.     Deposits checks issued to branch's personnel and payees respective bank accounts and files validated deposit slips to the voucher file.

8.     Monitors and picks up regularly from Company banks credit memos covering Branches' remittances, as well as debit memos covering returned checks and other banking charges.

9.     Secure, at all times, Company collections, cash and petty cash funds, and other accountable forms locked inside the vault and keep the working place neat and clean.

  1. Responsible for maintaining complete files and records and maintains the confidentiality of all transactions.

  2. Prepare sales order/sales invoice/collection receipt.

  3. Performs other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
