The District Sales Manager (DSM) for Mindanao will be responsible for driving commercial excellence and achieving sales objectives across the entire Mindanao region. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational execution to ensure consistent business growth and effective field force management.

Your Role:

  • Team Leadership: Oversees a team of Medical Representatives, providing direction, coaching, and performance monitoring to ensure territory and brand targets are met.
  • Sales Performance: Accountable for sales execution, achievement of business objectives, and effective resource utilization in assigned territories.
  • Market Development: Builds strong partnerships with HCPs and trade partners, ensuring strong market presence and availability of key brands.
  • Strategic Implementation: Translates strategies into actionable territory plans; ensures alignment with marketing, medical, and other relevant cross functional teams.
  • Coverage: Entire Mindanao region, including key cities and provinces. The role requires high mobility, as weekly travel within the region will be necessary.
  • Base Location: Davao City — candidate must either be from Davao or willing to relocate.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Proven experience in leading or coaching a sales team, demonstrating the ability to inspire and develop team members.
  • Familiarity with the Mindanao healthcare landscape, including key healthcare professionals and market dynamics, is a strong advantage.
  • Dynamic and people-oriented leader who excels in team management and development.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities to translate business strategies into actionable plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and trade partners.
  • Highly motivated and results-driven, thriving in fast-paced and competitive environments.
  • Demonstrates learning agility, adapting quickly to new challenges and market changes.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the Mindanao region, demonstrating high mobility to meet the demands of the role.
