Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled UX/UI Designer to join our on-site team in Iloilo City. The ideal candidate will combine strong user experience principles with high-quality visual design skills to create intuitive, accessible, and engaging digital experiences for web and SaaS products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and improve user experiences for web/SaaS platforms based on research, user testing, and analytics.
  • Create wireframes, low- and high-fidelity prototypes, user flows, task flows, personas, and IA documentation.
  • Develop polished, responsive UI designs and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and cross-functional teams to ensure pixel-perfect implementation.
  • Conduct usability testing and synthesize feedback into actionable design improvements.
  • Apply accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.2 AA) and ensure UX quality, error states, and microcopy meet standards.
  • Participate in iterative design cycles informed by KPIs, feedback, and competitor benchmarking.
  • Maintain organized design files, prototypes, and documentation for long-term usability.

Qualifications & Skills:

Core UX Competencies:

  • 3+ years experience in UX design for web or SaaS products
  • Strong knowledge of user-centered design, usability heuristics, and accessibility fundamentals
  • Ability to translate complex workflows into simple, intuitive user journeys

UI & Visual Design:

  • 3+ years hands-on UI design experience
  • Expertise in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalent
  • Strong visual design skills: typography, spacing, grid systems, color theory, component styling, and UI animations
  • Experience designing and maintaining design systems

Prototyping & Handoff:

  • Prepare developer-ready design assets, specs, and redlines
  • Familiarity with design-to-development workflows (Zeplin, Figma Inspect, tokens, component mapping)
  • Validate implementation quality with frontend teams

Research & Iteration:

  • Conduct user interviews, usability tests, and heuristic evaluations
  • Incorporate feedback into design improvements
  • Benchmark competitor patterns and industry trends

Accessibility & UX Quality:

  • Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards
  • Ability to design clear error, loading, and empty states, and user-friendly microcopy

Front-End Familiarity (Optional):

  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Awareness of responsive layouts and component constraints

Tools & Workflow:

  • Usability testing tools: Maze, UserTesting, Hotjar, LogRocket, FullStory
  • Analytics tools: GA4, Amplitude, Mixpanel
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum rituals

Communication & Collaboration:

  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to explain design rationale
  • Collaborative and able to manage UX quality across products

Schedule & Work Arrangement:

  • On-site in Iloilo City only
  • Shift-based schedule: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift
  • Ability to collaborate with US time zone teams during assigned shift
  • Active participation in asynchronous workflows and documentation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php110,000.00 per month
