The Opportunity

Allegro MicroSystems is seeking an experienced and dynamic Section Head, Supply Chain Planning to lead a vital segment of our global supply chain operations. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing key planning processes, ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products from suppliers to customers. You will play a crucial part in developing and executing strategies that enhance our supply chain's resilience, responsiveness, and cost-effectiveness, directly contributing to Allegro's operational excellence and business growth.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply chain planning professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management processes.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to align supply chain plans with business objectives and market demands.

  • Drive the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process for your section, ensuring robust forecasting, capacity planning, and inventory optimization.

  • Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, developing contingency plans to ensure business continuity.

  • Utilize advanced analytics and planning tools to improve forecast accuracy, optimize inventory levels, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain planning, driving initiatives to achieve and exceed targets.

  • Lead cross-functional projects aimed at improving supply chain processes, implementing new technologies, and fostering best practices.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and internal policies.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS CSCP, CPIM) is a plus.

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain planning, with leadership or supervisory experience within a manufacturing or semiconductor environment.

  • Proven expertise in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and S&OP processes.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in supply chain planning software (e.g., SAP APO, Kinaxis, Oracle SCM) and advanced Excel.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices in supply chain operations.

  • Solid understanding of global supply chain dynamics, logistics, and manufacturing processes.
