We seek a detail-oriented Product Specialist with a chemistry background to enhance product quality and support customer satisfaction. This role involves driving research and development, conducting product inspections, and addressing technical inquiries. The Product Specialist will collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams to ensure quality standards, perform product demonstrations, and manage technical documentation. Ideal candidates are proactive, have strong communication skills, and are committed to product excellence.

Job Specification

  • BS Chemical Technology, BS Chemical Engineering, BS Chemistry and other Chemistry related courses
  • Desire to continue to develop skills and knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
  • Able to work cooperatively as part of a team.
  • Mastery on details like product specifications and composition.
  • Deadline-driven, and keen on quality standards

Job Responsibilities

  • In charge of research and development and all possible tasks that will ensure excellent product delivery, technical audit, answer customer questions and concerns regarding product technicalities.
  • Conduct experiments and /or inspect items received from suppliers, returned from customers and damaged to support sales and operations' requests for replacement.
  • Cascade product information to operations personnel.
  • Perform product demonstrations for customers, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage information to update products, business flow, sales process and market dynamic.
  • Update and keep complete documentation for all product-related activities.
  • Monitor and maintain products' quality and check for discrepancies.
  • Establish guidelines for new product development.
  • Submit reports from experiments and inspections.
  • Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams and supply chain teams in product development activities.
  • Visit Clients who request for process improvement and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct product sample testing provided by all suppliers and recommend for approval.
  • Perform all other related tasks as assigned by superior.
