Inbound Processor

Responsibilities:

• Receiving and Inspection: Unload incoming shipments from trucks and delivery vehicles. Inspect packages and products for damage, quantity discrepancies, and accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Data Entry and Documentation: Accurately enter receiving data into the warehouse management system (WMS) or inventory software. Generate and affix labels, barcodes, and other necessary documentation for tracking and inventory control.
• Sorting and Organizing: Sort incoming products and materials by type, destination, or storage location. Ensure products are organized and staged for efficient put-away.
• Inventory Management: Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels. Report any inventory discrepancies or quality issues to a supervisor.
• Safety and Maintenance: Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures. Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and delivery drivers to resolve issues and ensure a smooth inbound process.
