About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Energy Modeler Virtual Assistant who can develop, manage, and analyze building energy models using eQUEST. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently to deliver high-quality energy simulation outputs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage building energy models from scratch to completion using eQUEST.
  • Conduct detailed energy performance simulations and analysis for various building types.
  • Interpret architectural and mechanical drawings to define building construction, HVAC systems, and equipment parameters.
  • Model and evaluate systems such as VRF, Split Systems, PTAC, and ERV.
  • Analyze and interpret eQUEST reports, identify model issues, and perform debugging or troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with engineers or project managers to verify assumptions, inputs, and simulation results.
  • Prepare documentation and summaries of modeling results as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in energy modeling using eQUEST.
  • Proven ability to develop and refine complete energy models independently.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems (VRF, Split System, PTAC, ERV).
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and mechanical plans.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to debug or troubleshoot modeling issues.
  • Experience working remotely and managing multiple projects is a plus.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with other simulation tools (EnergyPlus, OpenStudio, IES-VE, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Background in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or Building Science preferred.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.

Pay: Php50, Php70,000.00 per month
