Job Summary:

The Finance Analyst is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and maintaining budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision-making. This role ensures the accuracy of financial planning, provides insights on variances, and collaborates with business units to optimize resource allocation and drive financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and periodic financial projections in coordination with relevant departments.
  • Consolidate financial data and develop budget models and forecasting templates.
  • Analyze budget variances and prepare detailed reports explaining deviations from plans.
  • Work closely with department heads to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses to support management in evaluating financial risks and opportunities.
  • Monitor budget utilization and provide timely updates to management on budget status.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end closing processes by preparing accruals, reclasses, and relevant reports.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, dashboards, and reports for management review and board meetings.
  • Continuously improve budgeting and forecasting processes, tools, and models to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and financial regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, or similar roles in the real estate industry.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting principles, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial planning systems (e.g., SAP BPC, Oracle Hyperion, Anaplan) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
