THE POSITION

As we are growing, we start to build a next-generation middleware platform that bridges TikTok Shop's affiliate ecosystem with advanced e-commerce systems.

You'll be the technical architect and first engineering hire responsible for building the foundation of this system from concept to MVP, working directly with the founding team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Platform Development

- Design and build the middleware platform, integrating TikTok Shop APIs with brand backend systems.

- Develop API endpoints, data models, and database architecture to manage affiliate sales data, mapping, compensation sync, and order + commission reporting.

- Create modular components for future scaling (multi-brand, multi-store use).

Data Integration & Automation

- Build automated pipelines to pull TikTok Shop order + affiliate data in real time.

- Map affiliate IDs to partner or account IDs.

- Convert TikTok order data into structured data for reporting.

- Push data back to brand systems via API or export.

- Implement webhook listeners or cron jobs for near-real-time updates.

Frontend Dashboard

- Build a clean, secure dashboard for brands, affiliates, and internal users to view TikTok sales, commissions, and performance analytics.

- Use React or another modern JS framework for UI.

Infrastructure & Security

- Set up cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

- Handle authentication, roles, and permissions (brand, affiliate, admin).

- Ensure compliance with TikTok's API terms and data privacy standards.

Collaboration

- Work closely with founders and agency ops to define data flow logic.

- Translate business logic into scalable backend code.

- Collaborate with UI/UX designers for the front-end experience.

- Advise on long-term tech stack, scalability, and architecture.

REQUIREMENTS:

You have:

- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development , Python, or similar).

- Proven track record building API integrations and data middleware tools.

- Strong experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and data pipelines.

- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (Shopify, TikTok Shop, Amazon, WooCommerce).

- Experience with affiliate tracking systems, SaaS dashboards, or commission systems.

- Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).

- Comfort with cloud deployment and security best practices.

Bonus Skills:

- Experience integrating with ERP or CRM systems.

- Familiarity with TikTok Shop APIs or other marketplace APIs.

- Background in building analytics or reporting tools.

- Entrepreneurial mindset — excited to build IP from zero to one.

Tech Stack (Preferred)

- Backend: (Express/Nest) or Python (FastAPI/Django)

- Frontend: React + Tailwind /

- Database: PostgreSQL / Supabase

- Hosting: AWS (Lambda, RDS, EC2) or GCP

- Integrations: TikTok Shop API, Shopify API, Zapier/Make (initial automation layer)

Success Metrics

- MVP built and live within 90 days.

- Seamless data sync between TikTok Shop ? Middleware ? Brand backend.

- Accurate commission tracking and performance dashboard online.

- Foundation established for SaaS scalability and multi-brand support.

Compensation

- Competitive base + performance milestones (bonus for MVP launch).

- Equity or profit-share available for long-term alignment.
