Identifies patient service requirements by establishing a personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.

1.1.1.3Ensures operation of radiology equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques.

Keeps the department clean and orderly always, keeps all linens like gowns, towel in their proper places, ready for next for use. Drops all dirty linens to the laundry before going off in the P.M shift.

1.1.1.5Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

1.1.1.6Gains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties, providing explanations of treatment, and answering questions.

1.1.1.7Prepares patient for radiological procedure by positioning patient, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into a specified position, and adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors

1.1.1.8Minimizes radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding, and knowledge of exposure factors.

1.1.1.9Maintains radiology supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; and verifying receipt of supplies.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

Film balance of the outgoing and in-coming duty

Perform other related function as may assigned by the supervisor

Collect hazardous and non-hazardous waste accordingly.
